Got back over to that site I found the watch at and did a little swinging around. Found the pendant first about 40 feet from where I found the watch. 9 inches down dead under a three inch tree root giving me great high tone and a few 1-29's depending on the sweep radius. It was another one of those dig, probe sweep digs that took about ten minutes to complete. No chain or bail but as you can see by the silver test, even though it has no marking, I'm pretty sure it's .925.
The nickel was another 50 feet away and about 4 inches down. It was a great high tone but a solid 6-07 on the digital scale. I thought it may be a shotgun headstamp as I dug a few of those too. But I've never dug a 6-07 with that kind of tone.
Have fun out there and Happy Hunting!!
