Hi,

How do you clean your findings, especially if you find some old coins? Do you use some kind of special equipment?

There are MANY ways to clean coins, BUT, it depends on the type of coin & the rarity. If you think a coin might be worth serious $$$, DO NOT clean it! Best to send it in for a professional appraisal & restoration.

For the regular coins (not collectible or worth $$$), easiest & cheapest way is to buy a coin tumbler. Throw the coins in there & let'em spin a few hours, they come out looking just like the day the were minted

I bought my tumbler from Harbor Freight for about $30. Not the best tumbler out there, but, never had an issue with it & was worth every cent I paid for it

Hmmm, never heard of that model before. I bought my tumbler at Harbor Freight years ago, and never had a problem with it. So, hopefully, it'll be the first and last one I ever buy, lol.

Try the HF model if you have the stores by you. I think they even do international shipping. For $30 they're pretty good

I use the Thumler's Tumbler Model T . I have two of them and they work great for cleaning coins !
