Been meaning to tell you that upriver from there, if you follow the deer path up the hill, is another flat area that I only briefly touched. It's about four acres of big trees and moss and low grass in the sunny areas. I was able to find a couple of shotgun headstamps but had to scoot as I had a long way back to the truck before dark. I'll get to that area pretty soon and post what I find.
