Got out this morning for a couple of hours, went to a park that I've found a lot of silver this year. The past couple hunts have been slow because of the ground being dry and hard. Finally after a few days rain conditions were perfect. First spot I hit started out with a few deep wheats, then a nice 34-35 signal about 5 inches deep, what a surprise a 1864 two cent piece in nice shape!moving around a little I found a 1916 merc forth one from this park this year! Also another merc 1920 and a 1910 barber dime . Some days you can't go wrong I've been over these spots many times this year maybe it was the rain! Happy hunting!!

Congratulation on your find Fluke! Care to share some photos? Maybe a gallery would be nice for the site where we could share photos about our findings.
That's a pretty good find!

Way to go, Fluke! The way you were pulling the goods out today, one woulda thoughts you were using a silver vacuum cleaner, not a metal detector, lol.
Woop Woop! Another great find from another member, it's great seeing all the pictures on here of the loot you guys have been finding!

Gets my more eager to get started myself!
