Hello Scott, welcome to the forums. I'm new member as well. I started with the BH 3300, found to mercs at a decent depth. It truly is a great machine. It has a slow response , and can get confused with to many targets under the coil. But it has good depth, the mercury dimes were between 7 - 8 inches deep. I still have mine, and it is used for the kids. It's perfect because its light and doesn't cost an arm & leg. I have faith in the machine.
