Retired and wanting to resume using detectors after 30 years away. Just ordered a Teknetics Omega 8000 and would appreciate any tips on getting started with that machine. Happy to be a part of the community.
Welcome aboard!
That 8000 is a great machine! I've got the Delta 4000 and it paid for 60% of the equipment of what I own. After thirty years, guess you'll have to start the beep and dig routine, but I don't know how experienced you are so I can't say. In any event, good luck out there and glad your in. Love to see what you find!

Welcome, Shade. I used to swing an 8000, it's a very solid unit. Good depth, accurate VID info, super fast with excellent separation, and light as a feather. Depending on your ground, I think you'll be very satisfied with the Omega, as it's a killer on coins.
Welcome aboard, make yourself at home
