Finally got out today with Joe after quite a while of not detecting because of a minor operation and the dry ground. Met him for about an hour or so in the late afternoon. Managed a few wheats and a '44 Merc. Hopefully we'll get a nice rain soon because the coins we're finding are deep but we're loosing depth because of the dry ground. Gerry
Congrats on the 44 Gerry! I agree with your comment on the dry conditions. We've been lacking rain here as well and I feel exactly the same way. Hopefully, before the year is over, we both get a good soaking and not the deluge like Sandy or such. Good luck over there and HH my friend!
