Found these yesterday. The past few months I've been working some areas that were part of a Civil War camp. Nice to find Minies and musketballs with provenance.

The ring was a signal I had passed over before as it sounded like a copper Memorial cent and was under about 4" of hard packed gravel and clay. My new Lesche Sampson shovel powered right through it this time.
Those are beauties! What else have you pulled out of there? Love seeing the battle stuff, as it's like a mini snapshot taken in a time of terror, captured forever.

I don't believe the ring is CW era. The area was a CW camp, then farmed until about after the turn of the century when it was subdivided into lots for housing, so my best guess it the ring is probably1920s.
Nick nice recoveries! The ring is gorgeous! Congrats!
