Not sure why you would knock out the high area as large gold will hit high!!  A $20 gold coin will hit high like a Silver Half and that is 90% gold!!  Size Matters!!

I knew the higher the K the higher it will read. So for it to be a 10K ring I wasn't expecting it to read that high.  However I wasn't told it was an A&M or huge ring either.  He just told me it was a Class Ring.  My size 11- 10K White gold ring hits around a nickel.
