Well since I don't have a boatload of snow to shovel and it was sunny and 34F today, I let the word search book alone and got out into the woods for about 3 hours. Not much to show except that rather large rimfire cartridge and a U S Cartridge No. 12 Ajax headstamp (US Cartridge closed it's doors in 1926!). And a 7mm Remington Magnum unfired rifle cartridge! (I didn't know we had Elephants around here!!!) Found the 57D wheat on my way back to the truck. Ground was frozen about 2 inches but the Sampson went right through it like butter. Tomorrow promises to be 42F and Sunny so I'm going to try and get an earlier start.
And did it feel good to be swinging again!!
Have fun out there and HAPPY HUNTING!
