Well, since I was feeling too good about finding that wheatie in my change the other day, I thought I would try again. So did I get another goodie? Oh, No. . . I got someone's uncleaned dug up, can't read the date on it, poc-marked , half eaten green polka dotted penny. Sheesh.

I had to laugh just knowing that someone else is actually putting these coins back into circulation too, but why oh why did I get them Sad. Oh well, they still spend.
Lol! Those Zincolns don't hold up well!!
It is surprising how fast the zincs go bad. Real contrast with silver and even good copper.
That's nuts, it's crazy how jacked up that penny is lol. Good thing my old coppers don't come out as bad as that! I guess i'm lucky lol.
That's just crazy.
That's definitely a mess. Zincoln's are junk. Here in Ohio they last about 2 or 3 years in the ground and start to dissolve from then on. What a numismatic legacy!

Looks like a beach Lincoln.  Thats the way they come from the wet sand
