Sorry for the confusion, Deathray, and for my poor attempt at humor, I'm actually north of the Mokelumne, in Amador County. In what was the northern portion of Calaveras before 1854. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be such a gold rush history nerd. Very familiar with your "neck of the woods," did quite a bit of work in the west gold belt around the Royal/Mt.King, Salt Springs Valley, Siberia Hills, Campo Seco,etc.
