Full Version: Giant hogsweed (safety warning)

this plant grows rapidly, and spreading like wildfire ( at least here in Ontario)  it is know to cause burns if the spa contacts your skin and if it get in contact with your eyes it has been know to cause both temporary and permanent eye damage/blindness.

Avoid contact with it for your own protection especially if you hunt in the bush.

That's a big plant!!! We have a tiny version here in England that's harmless,a bit scary how bad it can burn you! Gl and hh
Glad we don't have anything like that around here. My big plant problem is poison ivy. Easy to get a real bad rash if you dig in wooded area and brush your hands against leaves or roots. For me it's usually a trip to doc for cortisone shots.
