Yesterday, I stopped by the beach after work. I needed to test why my excal acted up the other day. Not sure, but it might have been from a low battery.

During this hunt it was stable even with a lot of wave action. I did have to lower the sensitivity a few times when it got to being a chatterbox.

Found 15 or so coins. Not shown. But found a plated 18k hge ring. It looks bad, so it must of been there for awhile.

Anyway, even this junker brought some excitement.

I'll bet your heart skipped a beat when you first spotted that ring. Too bad it was a plated item, but at least you are hunting and finding things, and enjoying it all. Who knows? --the next one might be a real stunner!  I would love to just have a chance at beach hunting.
