1944 Merc in the metro parks it is very detailed for being 7 inches down and 72 years old.

Nice looking Merc John!!! Was probably dropped in like new condition. Congrats. I can't tell you how many guys have told me the Metroparks is hunted out. Guess they gave up a little too early!!

Congrats on a sweet lookin merc 7" is pretty deep for a dime and a at pro! How was the signal? Iffy/solid? Good vdi?

Signal was 81-84-85-90-grunt-few more in mid 80's enough to pinpoint it solid in the center. We just had some rain day before and ground was moist think that helped. At pro with 5x8 coil max depth I think is 8 inches on a dime atleast for me so far.
