I just bought a used Etrac in brand new condition. I have the original box. How can I tell how old it is?

The serial number I'd imagine. If you can't figure it out just give minelab a call. Best of luck with the new machine and hope it's a newer one!

As far as your Serial Number if you have questions concerning its manufacture date, warranty etc simply shoot Minelab an E-mail or call.

Thanks for the replies. I sent Minelab an email but haven't heard back yet. I just thought the date would be part of the serial number.

Okay. Just heard back from Minelab. Etrac was made in 2012. Don't think it was ever used. It's out of warranty but I'll take it.
