All these were in a fresh water lake. Now I need to try and find the owner of another ring! It seems to be harder to find owners than rings!

Nice ring , does it have any markings to help you find the owner?  I guess I take the greedy approach , if it is not engraved and I do not know someone was looking for a ring on that property , it goes in my equipment upgrade fund.

No engravings or markings.

The silver ring has no markings, and it sticks to a magnet.....that means junk doesn't it? The other tarnished ring does not stick. How do you tell what they're made of?

1 way is a metal test kit same way pawn shops and coin shops check and I think there is a electrolis one also but much more costly. Or wear it for a week and if you get a green ring its no good
