Here's a coin I found years ago hunting an area known as The Bermuda Hundred Campaign in Chester Va. I was using the Whites Eagle 2 SL. Thanks for looking.

Excellent find! Nothing that old up here. Oldest yet here was a 1835 LC. I envy you guys in those early settlement areas. You got a lot older history under your feet.

Sweet coin my oldest is a braided liberty lc with no date 1839-1857. I would freak out with a date like that.

Thanks for the replies. Here's some more. I found these early in the year. All were found together in a 10' area in the North Anna Battlefied.(with permission). I found a total of 12,  two of which are in my CW case, 1864 1865. The rest are up to 1902. Also dug some bullets that day. Thanks again for looking.
