Your method of detecting in older areas wouldn't interest most folks. They want to run and gun, so to speak. I had a friend who didn't like trying for older coins because as he said you don't come home with much in your pouch. That partner might be the reason I am a coin shooter at heart and do it most days to relax. Your relaxation is out and about in nature areas - woods, forest, old wagons trails and who knows - out just might land a gold coin sooner than most folks.

Thanks Big T! One can only hope on a gold coin but it is possible. Wish I had some gold coins left to test with the AT Pro. I had a 1/4 oz Canadian Maple leaf a while back and it rang up like a silver quarter on the SE Pro.
