I heard some people do this to keep the kids entertained and encourage them to keep looking; they bury coins or other small metal objects around their property for the kids to find. Would you do that with your kids?

Well, my son will be 4 soon, so, still a bit to young to hunt. Once he's 7 or 8 though, I will indeed be taking him with me to detect...and I might just bury a nice coin or two so he can 'find them' & feel proud
