What do you all do for displaying finds?
Pics would be great.
BT
Hi BT
I put my better coins in 2x2 "coin flips" that fit in vinyl pages and are stored in looseleaf binders.
Gerry
I don't actually display my finds , I have an old sewing silk cabinet as well as a couple of old spool cabinets I put my finds in them and when I need a fix I just go through them.
A display cabinet or shadow box has been on my wish list , they just never get close enough to the top to become a reality.
One of my occasional hunting partners carries a big tackle box in his truck tool box and when anyone talks about something he found even a couple years ago he digs it out of there . It makes me feel a little better that mine at least get cleaned up and sorted.
Maybe by watching this thread I will get shamed into doing something. I get a week off over the holidays , if the weather is good maybe I'll get out to the wood shop and whip something up ( I won't hold my breath though....)
Thanks for starting such an interesting thread , I hope a lot of people chime in and wow us with their displays.
Pat
Unless they're special pieces, similar to Digsit, I keep all of my finds in clear plastic tackle/sewing boxes. But for the rarer or more meaningful finds, I made a few homemade "shadow boxes", which are nothing more than some cheap pictures frames from the dollar store, with some added felt lining. They get the job done, but they won't win any design awards, lol. I'll try and get a photo up later, as my camera is dead now.

If you ever want to see super nice ones however, Ron (RonCA) here has magnificent cases. Some are really intricate with artwork in the background, etc. Ray (Deathray) here has excellent ones as well, which he normally gives away to property owners to thank them for hunting privileges on their properties, along with mementos inside.
Over the years I only made up on display of buttons. I somehow found a box with circle spaces under a plastic case. It was perfect and fit all of my button finds up to that point.
A few years ago I started to sort stuff into plastic bins with the intention of making displays but never did it.
Maybe this is another winter project for me, thanks for sharing
Here are a few display I have made up over the years and a video that shows a pretty cool display. LOL A shameless plug for myself and mark!! hahaha

All my non display coins also go into a 2x2 coin holder then labeled and put into a 3 ring binder in order of being found. lol A few make it into my main display case.

My better buttons go into the round plastic cases and into a display holder. It is displayed on the top shelf of my main display in my office.

All buckles go into the main display. The gold nuggets get a replica made for the display and the real stuff goes to the safety deposit box.

They thousands of other relics go into plastic containers that are labeled with the site they were found. Need to make a few morde displays but running out of room to display them. If anyone needs an item or two for a display you are creating please let me know what you're after. If I can help out I certainly will. would prefer a nice relic get displayed vs sitting in a plastic container. Remember my better items are not in plastic containers LOL So the odds of me sending you a gold rush buckle might be slim hahahaha got piles of CW bullets, doodads etc.

Merry Christmas to all!!

Extraordinary displays Ron. Congrats twice, once on the good finds and again on the quality of your presentation. This should give Ben some great ideas on how to showcase his finds. I enjoyed the video too. It's ok to make a "shameless plug" when you've got the stuff to back it up.
Ron , you win.
Nice collection and display frames for sure.
