congrats on the win , that looks like a great digger. I use the fiskars that you describe , I have never had any complaints about it , but then again I have no experience with a white's or a lesche.
I hope you get an early thaw so you can give that new toy a workout. Thanks for the video.

For someone who never wins anything you are doing OK. A big gift card and a new digger---nice!  Just wondering what item you entered in the "find of the year" contest, and if yours didn't get top prize, what did?  You have had some great discoveries over the last year.
Congratulations on the win! That is a beefy looking digger. Let us know how it does.

Yeah I'm definitely smuggling a horseshoe somewhere lol. I submitted an intact Victorian hypodermic needle kit. I didn't get a whole lot of votes. Luckily, I managed to win the random draw! The winner posted an early to mid 1700s pocket sundial. Incredible relic! I posted my Fugio cent in the coin category but it didn't get much attention. French silver took that prize
That's a nice looking digger! Congrats! I am not a real fan of the teeth on both sides. We have so much clay around here that when you pull it out of the ground, it pulls a lot of soil that sticks to the blade. Like to see it in action. Good luck with that trip when you have the weather!

Ed
Thanks Ed. I'll do a field test review on it when the ground thaws. The trip isnt a pleasure trip unfortunately. It's to the sick kids hospital. My son was diagnosed with a rare bone disease so he is going to see th rheumatology specialist
