All in an area that looks like a big potato, after all the digging; 5 wheats, the Merc and War Nickel in a spot about 5 feet in diameter and 5 more wheats in a spot that connects to that circle about 3 feet in diameter. In front of two real big trees. 2 of the oldest wheats both are 1929 and the youngest are 1951D with 4 completely toasted. Also found some clad and modern copper pennies well outside that area. Hot and dry here and the mosquitoes are out for big time blood! 3.5 hours total time swinging and still about 2 acres to cover but I'm not expecting much because it's further and further away from the playing fields.
Have fun out there!
