Nice post Ed. Very poignant to think that a young girl met her death in such a horrible place, and probably in an atrocious manner, and this is all anyone has to remember her by. I think it would be a very sobering experience to hold that little pendant in your hand. You are right, an interesting story whether or not it came to light through a detector, and it serves to remind us how good this hobby can be when we find personalized items; mementos of lives gone by.
