I just recently picked up a Fisher CZ6A (Los Banos unit) from a buddy of mine and so far have only had the chance to use it three times . So what you see is from three separate hunts about 12 hours of learning this bad boy . First pick is a silver ring , Mercury Dime 1936 , three wheaties 55d , 38s , 45 , and three marbles .
Second pic is the clad coins $9.65 in change minus all the pennies that I dug .
I've been having a blast with my CZ6A it's a real coin picker !

Nice hunt, Mike! I'm an old silver guy myself. That's primarily what I hunt for, and I gotta tell ya, I still get a rush from seeing that bright, shiny silver in the hole...especially mercs, after all these years!
I'd call a silver ring & a merc good hunts, in my book
Just curious, I have a CZ3D 1021 that was tuned by Tom D. Anything above 5 on the sensitivity doesn't increase depth much, it simply raises the volume of the buried target. Is the 6A similar in that regard, Mike?
P.S. - Always check your marbles, some are VERY collectible

Thanks for the reply ! As for your question Im not sure ... Im new to this machine and have never owned any Fisher detector before . Maybe Tom D can tell us . Los Banos units from what i've read are said to be real deep that is what caught my attention when I had the chance to get it . I used the CZ6A in two separate parks and both are real trashy and high mineralized ground which tends to give me a hard time when I increase my sensitivity above 5 . My deepest coin so far was the half dollar at about 7 and a half inches . Still learning it so hopefully I'll be able to pick up on tips and tricks to make it a smooth learning curve .
