I like to crevice and snipe too. The getting there is half the fun. Hiking these NoCal canyons kicks my butt.

Haha, I was trying to see if I can post multiple pics...flunked that...and pic came out upside down. Oh well....:P

Think I figured it out..gotta hit reply for each pic? Here's a visitor in my pan

And one more from the hike in...

Cool pics! To add multiple photos, just click "Choose File", then, after picking your photo, click "Add Attachment". Repeat steps as many times as needed, then click "Update Post" when you are ready to finalize or lock-in the post Happy
Haha, after I posted I saw your help section Joe. I'm the kind of guy , gets a new detector, runs out detects, then gets baffled, THEN reads the manual, lol. And yep Ron, truly is Gods country for sure!!
So can any of the equipment you guys are using detect under water? Can you put your detector IN water? It continues to remind me of the fish finder's I'm familiar using (sonar technology). I'd be interested to see one of these things IN a river or something.
Hey nice looking pics Ray and nice looking gold ! So was the scorpion in a crevice or were you flipin rocks and boulders ? I bet the Trout fishing is awesome there too ...

Mike
I don't water detect Cutler, but I do grab mask, snorkel and hand tools to 'snipe'for gold...probably will Saturday since its supposed to hit 108. Hey Mike, I must of grabbed that sucker, cause I found him like you see him...but I did move some small rocks off the crack. Trout is good there early in the year, smallmouth take over this time of year. Haha, Ron knows exactly where this is at I'm sure. Ray

It's gonna be damn HOT here this weekend. That sounds very difficult to "snipe", but definitely an interesting idea.. That sounds like fun. The bass are definitely biting these days. Water's about 67 degrees, smallmouth are biting top water, I've had great luck trolling spinners for largemouth. I still haven't hooked up with a striper this season though.. Will continue on Sad
