Well I started where I left off last year. My last hunt before winter froze me out was an old yard the house on the property was built in the late 1800's. Last year I got a 1919D merc, a 54' Rosie and like 6 or 7 wheats. I did not get a chance to go back and make sure I got all that I could so I tried today and I still could not dig all the signals because only the parts of the yard that see the most sunlight during the day were thawed enough to dig but here's what I got
Half an old cap gun an old toy car and 40 cents in clad

Nice cap gun! Imagine what you're gonna find once the full thaw happens! 

Make sure you post all that silver here once you find it

It's good to get out.  I know that frozen ground is frustrating.  It's getting there though.

Not bad for 1/2 frozen ground :-)

Nowhere to dig here yet - snow still covering 50% of the ground and frozen solid pretty much

won't be long though - maybe by the start of April
