  Hello from Virginia Beach
Posted by: unit1923 - 02-20-2018 01:41 PM - Replies (7)

Hello everyone and thanks for having me on here. I love metal detecting when I can and have been doing pretty good with silver finds, not much on gold lol. My primary machine that I use is the Minelab Etrac and the Garrett ATPro. I prefer land detecting and woods due to the greater opportunity to find much older coins, buttons and tokens. I am from Arlington, VA originally and moved down the Hampton roads area in 2002. I did four years active duty Army at Fort Leavenworth and currently in the Virginia National Guard. If anyone would like to get out and detect I am always open to check out some cool spots. Thanks for having me and hope to hear from you

I am back if you folks don't mind.

I have been away from this forum for awhile and felt I should come back now and see how things are going on.
I want to say hello all at once to those of you who are still here and knew me.
What I like is sharing information about this crazy hobby and would like some in return. I need to keep learning to stay young.

I have a new detector on the way - A Nokta Impact, I can't wait for it to arrive, should be here this coming Monday.
I hear it does well in iron and I really hope it does because there are always nails and rusted iron things no matter where I go.

Happy to be back if you guys don't mind.HappyCool

Hello everyone,
My name is Lou and I am from NE, PA. Metal detected many years but have not done so recently. I do have many finds under my belt or in my pouch.
I have found coins of all denominations from Reals to Large cents plus many others. Back then used the local libraries to find old sites and then searched them as best I could. I found this forum by accident and it did take awhile to get registered.

I hope in time to come I can learn all about your members so I can read what is happening and to get to know them as well. If you have questions write me and I will be happy to answer them. With regards

PS; The wife located an old photo last week that I took after the first year detecting. I will attach it here just for a laugh.

Hello, I'm Bryan

I look forward to exchanging ideas and discussion topics with all of you. Please excuse me in advance if I seem blunt or terse at times, or make spelling mistakes. I've learned a lot here already just lurking around, but this forum helped me so much. I wish to learn more and understand how important it is to get an in-depth look for devices and equipment that I could use in my treasure hunting, or coin detection endeavors.

Best of luck to us.
