Very cool, i had came across them while researching them yesterday. that is a sweet button, it`s cool to find an old button, but to be able to find one with connections to a specific group or regiment makes it all the more cool and special ...

That's why I said your finds beat mine by a mile, earlier in the thread. It's not that they're better, but, with relic pieces (which you've been predominately digging), there's more of a pedigree, a story, a background on the piece. I LOVE coins, especially silver, and will NEVER tire of pulling up an oldie, however, the relics (at least to me) are more personal in nature. To think a soldier wore that button I found on his uniform 150 years ago is astounding. Boggles the mind. Was it lost? Was the soldier injured? Was he a big shot in the regiment? The questions never end. That's why I envy the finds that guys like you, Ron, Deathray & others make on these relic pieces Wink
