Been out twice with my F2. Did a 30 minute hunt today at an old ball field. Head toward the car and got a dime signal, repeatable at 3". Out pops a 1940s Mercury Dime. 2 hunts 2 Mercs. I am not going to hold my breath on it happening 3 times in a row.

If you're pulling up silvers at 3", you need to POUND that place
3" silvers are a rarity where I am, and might happen 1 in 200 digs...if we're lucky. I would be at that spot at the crack of dawn, and swinging for a good 6 or 7 hours
