Hello all, this link will take you to an article about counterfeit nickels that were made in NJ in the early 1950's. They were called the Henning Nickels
This guy counterfeited five dollar bills first then he decided on nickels - I guess back then he thought he would get away with it - crazy story for sure!

Crazy, this story should be in that NJ magazine called "Weird New Jersey" !
Great article, Tony!!! If anyone can find them, Neil is at the top of the list. I spoke with him a number of years ago, and he's a helluva detectorist. He's made some stunningly amazing finds down his way. Wouldn't mind finding one of them myself.
