While on my trip I was in Ohio for most of the time. I hunted with Ice Scratcher on the 10th then 1 day back in Indiana for the family reunion party as seen here.

When I got back to Ohio I hunted a house where my uncle use to live and only found 1 wheat and a 1800's suspender buckle.
Well on Wednesday I secured a AWESOME permission at a 1873 mansion. The little old lady was so sweet and excited to see what I may find. On the first day I had such a great verity of finds I was so excited. LOL I found my first lead soldiers, my first ever full silver utensil (I found 2 spoon bowls before). The Fork is a 1898 "The Rose" pattern from Steiff Silversmith. My totals for day 1 are 5 silver coins 2 Indian Head cents, 2 V Nickels 16 wheat cents including my first Steel wheat. WOW what a day but I was not in store what day 2 would bring.
On day 2 I started at 9:30 am and it started slow with just some relics and wheats. Where I thought was filled may have been 50 years ago or more. LOL I started plucking out silvers and 3 holes where spills with a mix of silver and wheats. I was tired and thinking about calling it a day until Ice Scratcher called and said he wanted to hunt with me one more time. Well I told him where I was and he came over. While waiting I scored 2 more silvers and 1 made my first ever TRIFECTA!!!!!!! When Ice arrived I was working on one of the last few areas I have not hit yet. As you can see from his post he did very well for the 2 to 2.5 hours he was there.

Even though he stole what could have been my 2nd trifecta I am happy he found some goodies.
My total for day 2 is 32 wheat cents, 2 more lead toys, cool relics, 6 Buffalo Nickels and 15 silver coins!!!! Yes a Dime Trifecta as I found a 1901 Barber dime. Also got my 1 or 2nd SLQ for the year and of course no date.
This makes 20 silver coins for me from this yard and 21 with Ice's and a total of 48 wheat cents for me and 50 with his, also 2 V ,6 Buff and 4 war nickels. 3 Indians with both of ours and a ton of cool relics and other items. WOW what a spot!!!!
Total trip pic before rings cleaned.
From the Mansion!!
Day 2
I will have a video up on my you tube channel for each hunt that I could video from my trip! More dirt shots will be in it.
