Congrats on the silver Merc and ring!

Nice finds. It's a good hunt anytime you find silver. Several posters have shown rings without the stones and I'm wondering if they could still be in the holes disguised by packed dirt, or do they go flying after the ring is lost and maybe thrown by a mower in a park. Do you spend time searching the residue? Just curious as a new hunter without having found anything similar.
