Went to vacant lot , site of old 1890's house while wife was in therapy today. Had about 45 minutes to look and found a 44 wheat, a few junk items , and this silver thimble. It is inscribed with initials "MEE" .  Working on some leads in the online court records for my county that might reveal the owners identity. Hoping to get a chance to go back tomorrow. It was nice to get out again.

Sweet find and ....silver is silver in any form.

Those silver thimbles don't come out looking like that very often. That a great find! Usually they are all beat to hell.
