Went to the corn field this morning to check digging depth. Weather was around 50 degrees and ground thawing out quite well.. Half the field that gets less sun could dig about 4.5" and the sunny side just about got stuck in the mud,,could dig to China. Landed second merc of the year and first piece of jewelry this sterling pendant.. Sone flat buttons the four hole button sounded like a silver dime was shocked when seen the button 7Inches down. Nice assortment of finds and the pendant is especially neat. Good to see hunters getting out in the milder weather. Warm here today but rainy; maybe tomorrow.
