Congrats on the Spanish silver! I too vote banner. 
What a great hunt , especially if that unknown coin winds up being a 3 cent Nickle.

Thanks guys but that's a button. It's silver plated on the front. The back is copper and I can see where the shank was

Tony, I believe its just a silver button on the front. The reverse is copper or whatever and looks to have a missing shank!
I'll figure out for sure soon. And if it's a 3 cent somehow or something great I'll repost it.
