I went to a beach today to try out the Impact and see what gives before I go to the big beach hunt in May.
All of that dirt fishing and to pull up # 2 on a beach was just crazy.
I got lucky and pulled up a 1958d wheat cent and a 1954 Roosevelt dime.

I'm sure the beach find was a pleasant surprise after your other hunts. But I'm happy whenever and wherever silver shows up. One other thing; doesn't silver just look sweet in your hand ---nice pic. Your wheatie also looks good for having been in the salty environment.

Thanks Shade, yeah those coins were in dry sand, so not bad at all. The front of the wheat cent was a bit rough.
My feeling is that they bring in sand every year to build up the place and that is how the coins get there. Just my opinion because I don't deliver sand, ha ha ha
