Got out with Fluke today, and what a hunt Silver seemed to be leaping from the ground. We've been blessed with not only much needed rain lately, but, temps in the 50's & 60's...unusual for almost January.
One of us kept digging up goodies in turns today. Fluke would hit something good, then I'd pop a nice keeper. He edged me out this time though...and he deserves it
Ended up with 14 wheats, a silver Rosie, a merc & a 37 Washington. Also scored a 2 sterling jeweleries - a pendant & a ring, as well as what appears to be an old button. It's huge and still has the shank. Beautiful colors too, but, no makers mark, so, probably a generic piece.
Happy New Year!
