Man, silver doesn't come easy here. The silvers gods are making me break my ass, lately; digging through massive roots, having to pry out giant rocks, etc. Gerry F. & I hit a spot this morning, and we got a donut hole for most of the hunt. We finally decided to try one more place before calling it quits, and I snagged a nice barber quarter there. Also got another Marines pin. I found the EXACT same one a few weeks back. Got an old bus token, a silver whatsit, and a few wheats.

P.S. - I think the silver whatsit might be from a lamp. Any guesses? It's a tiny bit bigger than a quarter.

Awesome quarter.  I like the pin too.  I have an Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.  My little brother gave it to me.  It was given to him when he finished boot camp.  I'd say those finds were worth the work.
