NASA Tom is the man! I have all his dvds and read his articles- top notch! I also had him tune a CZ5 for me and bought a F75se new from him that he patiently helped me learn. He is a totally class guy. He is one of a handful of people I can think of who really KNOW what detecting is about from every aspect.

Aside from being one of the top 'scholars' in this pursuit, he's also a HECK of a gentleman!
I had my CZ tuned by him. Admittedly though...
I have to re-read his writings AT LEAST a few times over, as they come across like Mandarin or Cantonese on first glance, yes, he's that analytical

That is great reading no matter what brand you use. I have read it many times. It's downloaded on my laptop, phone, and tablet.
I have copies of all the articles on my hard drive. I agree his writings are for anyone serious about mastery of the art of MDing. I would under score the videos too. It is so helpful to see a master at work. He can call a target like no one I have seen. I remember once he hit a target and remarked, "This is odd it hits like a penny but is the size of a dime." He dug it up and it was a penny shaved to the diameter of a dime! That is a darn good ear! And it was with a CZ in all metal! Its on the video in real time.
