I found one for you but its made from anodized aluminum.
I would say they are from the late 60's early to mid 80's from Coleman before they went to cheap part and higher prices.

This is a long awaited split call for Big Tony and Padiggydirt!

I'd have to say that you are correct in you timeline Pa and Big Tony with the manufacture. Although many disagree. These are Mantle Flanges from Coleman lanterns from the 50's and 60's.

I actually loved all the responses and some of them were pretty good. And pretty funny.

Although they were referenced as head pipe configurations by the best of us, (including me originally before I posted), they are not. I find empty glue tubes and rolled aluminum foil crack pipe configurations all over the place. Amazing how the population is some respects wants to be "Wasted". With the cheapest methods because they blew all the money on the dope.

These however are what they are.

Congrats Padiggydirt and Big Tony!

The winners will be based on the first accurate answer by time posted.

I know what they are but I have no idea who made them and when, that's why I'm offering coins for the answer and I'm pretty bored so this will greatly help me identify at least the date of the spot I found one of them. Which to me is pretty important.

Both were found in spots miles from each other deep in the woods.

I remember where I found the first one but for the life of me cannot remember where I found the one with the knurls on it. The screen was in the knurled one caked in with mud.

Your clue is "Camping"!

Good luck and HH!!
They're the things the fire comes out of on a gas fire camping stove,I'd say 1950s and don't know manufacturers
