Nice one Dusty! I know you're wrong, but I sure wish I had thought of it. I can give some good come back lines--usually about an hour too late! Not as quick as you.

Yeah, that one takes the cake! Chuckle Shade, feel free to elaborate on yours, if you wish, as I didn't want to take the liberty of doing so, without your permission.

I spent too many hours in the sun when younger. Got considerable skin damage so the docs want me to cover up in hat, long pants, long sleeves when in the sun. No fun. So I stay in the shade when I can. And like our leader, I just plain hate the summer heat. Even try to park in the shade.
I don't know what my name means, but I also seek shade. Sun kills me. Let's go Bucs.

Hey i think the Buccos are for real this year. Need to win the division and stay out of the stupid one game wild card. One thing made me mad in the off season. They traded my man Neil Walker to the &*^%$#$% Mets. LOL. I have to get a Mets Walker jersey and wear it to Pirate games.

Mine's pretty easy to understand , but thanks Joe for starting this thread , there are quite a few handles on this forum that make me wonder what they mean , but I wasn't certain if it was acceptable to ask.

Thanks for being a paramedic relic medic , it takes a special kind of person to do that job.

Mine is obvious. Proud of my heritage and lineage. A little history. France to Canada. Canada to southern Louisiana. My grandparents on my dad's side , although born in America never spoke English. My dad didn't learn English until he went to school. They spoke Cajun French only. My dad and I are the only two people in America with our names. He's sr and I'm jr. Our names have been in our family since the 14 century. It stops with me because I never had a son.

Not that it's relevant but I grew up on gumbo and every other kind Cajun cooking involving meat you can think of.

There's a few more I'd still like to get the lowdown on, Pat. I hope this thread continues on Happy

Thanks for the explanation, Kajun. I wasn't sure if it was because you WERE cajun, enjoyed cajun food, maybe, or what. Now it makes sense. I'm still trying to figure out what the meaning of Scott Demont is though. I think it's navajo, and stands for: Man who finds very old coins Chuckle
